HI, I'M MARIO

I'm a hobby welder. I've done a few welding workshops, and every time I walked out wanting to build something more interesting than the last piece: an animal, a head, a shape I'd seen somewhere and couldn't stop thinking about.

The welding was never the hard part. Getting the pieces was. Turning an idea into flat parts that fold and fit together means CAD software, and that's a whole second hobby, expensive and slow to learn.

Meanwhile, ordering cut metal has become surprisingly easy. Send a DXF to a laser or plasma shop and a few days later the parts are on your doorstep. The missing link was the file.

So I built Photalchemy. Upload a photo (or describe what you want), pick how many pieces you're up for, and get a cut pattern your shop can use plus a guide to put it together. No CAD required. Just the fun part: welding.
